That you cannot underestimate the value of a quality photographer at your wedding day. Below is my favorite picture from the weddings I did in 2016 (over 40 of them). Actually, it may have been the very first picture of 2017 because it was taken right as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The scene was the Grand River Center. It was Emily Timmerman's & Jake Fleege's wedding and the photographers were Cathy and Jeff of UnPosed Photography in Galena, IL. Just as we reached zero in our countdown and screamed Happy New Year, Jeff, from behind the bride and groom shot off a confetti cannon and Cathy took the picture. It captured a memorable moment and it will be even sweeter when twenty or thirty years from now Emily, Jake and their family – maybe even their children - look at it.
You won’t get something like this from your spouse's cousins i-phone.
