FAQ: Requests

FAQ
Q: Why is it when I am at a wedding and make a request I sometimes wait forever to hear my song? - Still Waiting
A: There could be several answers to your question Still Waiting. First and foremost, try to think of your DJ as a programmer, not a jukebox. There's a time and a place for everything. Certainly right after dinner when the couple's parents are on the dance floor with their close friends and relatives may not be the ideal time to slip in Gucci Mane or Drake. That genre most often comes a little later in the evening. Couple that with the fact that there are other priorities that might be in play: The bride and grooms list, a need to get all of the formalities in before the photographer and videographers time is up and finally, was your request a good dance song? I too love to groove to Whiskey In A Jar by Metallica, but no one will dance to it.

“[The DJ] was very present without drawing attention to himself which is exactly what we asked for.  Thank you thank you thank you so much!"
